# A record you can share. A record others can check.

A Cert-Advance completion certificate records an assessment, score, holder display name, issue date and unique identifier. Its QR code and public link lead to the official verification record; the personal document and PDF remain available to the signed-in owner.

## How do I receive a certificate?

A completion certificate records your assessment and score. In the current beta, issuance requires a completed assessment and the short private assessment feedback; there is no minimum passing score. Keep your account access to use the personal document and PDF. Optional website reviews are separate from the private assessment feedback and are not a public-review requirement.

## What can another person verify?

The official record shows whether the certificate exists, its current status, identifier, holder display name, assessment title, score and issue date. The PDF QR opens that corresponding record. A private dashboard or a screenshot alone is not the verification mechanism.

## Is this an accredited qualification?

Assessments are self-directed and unproctored. A certificate is not an accredited qualification, verified identity, professional licence or evidence that the work was completed without assistance. It is a first-party record issued by Cert-Advance, not a university degree or a third-party certification. There is no claim that employers universally recognise or prefer it.

## How can I use it on a CV or LinkedIn?

Use the actual assessment title, issuing organisation, issue date, credential identifier and official verification URL. Describe it as a completion certificate and include supporting work where relevant. Anyone you give the public link to can see the limited public record.

## Can the status change?

Yes. A revoked certificate is displayed as revoked rather than valid, and its PDF download is refused. Check the official record when relying on a certificate; an old exported PDF may not reflect the current status.
