What does the AI assessment test?

Tasks ask you to check AI output against source evidence, choose responsible uses, consider data quality and explain your judgement. Read the messages, documents or tables supplied with a task before responding. Written explanations, decisions and action ordering put the emphasis on applying knowledge.

How are my answers checked?

The backend applies predefined answer keys, concept keywords, synonyms and task-specific rules. No AI model grades your work. Concept matching can award partial credit, but it cannot establish complete semantic correctness. Completed results show your score, category breakdown and model answers.

Do I receive an AI certificate?

A completion certificate records your assessment and score. In the current beta, issuance requires a completed assessment and the short private assessment feedback; there is no minimum passing score. Assessments are self-directed and unproctored. A certificate is not an accredited qualification, verified identity, professional licence or evidence that the work was completed without assistance.

Do I need to take a course first?

No. This assessment is for people who already know the subject and want to test it directly. If you are new to AI, use learning resources before starting; Cert-Advance does not replace a full training programme.

Is the AI assessment free?

Assessments and completion certificates are free during Open Beta. Complete the short private assessment feedback to unlock your certificate. Pricing may change after beta.
